Entering the Live Chat Room
To enter the Live Chat room you will need to enter a “Nickname”. This refers to the name that you would like to go by in the Chat room (first name, last name, pets name...). Just enter a name and click on the “Connect” button.

Tip: You may open the chat in a larger separate window by clicking the “Logout” button once you have entered the chat room and then clicking the “Connect” button again.
 


To use the features of the Chat room, take a look at the following icons. You must first click on a user to select them to use these features.
  • The first Icon is for the "profile" of a selected user.
  • The second Icon is used to have a "private conversation" with a selected user.
  • The third icon can be used to "flag messages" or change the color of a selected users messages.
  • The fourth icon can be used to "ignore" or block messages from a selected user and preventing them from accessing your profile.

    Windows Media Player is required to watch livent events at Up Front and Center. If you do not have the Windows Media Player it is available for download here.

    For information on troubleshooting any problems you may be having with the Windows Media Player or one of our streaming audio or video events, click here.
     

    To open the event within the stand-alone Media Player, all you need to do is click on the "Launch Player" button. This will enable viewers with a Broadband connection to rescale the size of the event window, or users with a dial-up connection to utilize their different Media Player Skins. (Media Player version 7)
